We have a patient with NAFLD, (NASH)
S. cholesterol-256, HDL 54 mg dL, LDL 167mg/DL, TG 238mg/dL , T. Cholesterol -HDL Ration 4.74 ,- all above normal range., Fabro scan S234-66%) , Fatty liver grade II; NAFLD liver stiffness and cap, 1-7.8, F0.
We analyze the co relation between liver stiffness(kPa) , as derived by Fibro scan 502(SNF00971), IQR 17, CAP 290 E(kPA) 4.6.
The analytical reading is within Cap 268-302 pointing to NAFLD/NASH at S2 choric stage. 34-66% fatty liver , in analysis of Liver Steatosis Assessment by FirboScan.
Summary
States of Diagnosis:
Liver: Normal (14.71 cm at MCL) in size with moderately increased parenchymal echogenicity. Intrahepatic vascular channels appear normal.
Gall Bladder : Appears well defined and normal in size. Wall thickness is within normal limit. No echogenic structure or biliary sludge is seen within the gall bladder.
Biliary Trees: Both intra and extra hepatic biliary tree is not dilated. Common bile duct is not dilated.
Spleen: Spleen is normal in size 7.97 cm. Echotexture of the splenic parenchyma appears homogeneous. No focal lesion is visualized.
Kidneys: Both the kidneys are normal in size (RK -10.15 cm and LK-10.56) shape and position. Parenchymal echogenicity appears normal. Cortico-medullary differentiation is ell maintained. Pelvicalyceal system is not dilated
Ureter :Both are not seen bilaterally, which excludes any obstructive feature.
Urinary Bladder: well filled. Wall think 7.0 mm. & irregular. Few echogenic debris is noted within.
Prostate: enlarged in size with uniform echotexture. Volume -38cc.
