Case 11: Severe Amenia, Congenital or Toxic
Sever Amenia -Toxic AnisochromiaOur patients are 72 + yr old group of female showing Erythrocytes iron binding deficiency with Anisocytosis. The WBC counts are above and distribution with normal Platelet range. Shows anemia with high ESR. Patient S.Ferritin test shows iron excess for adult females > 120 ( 263.76) indicating presence of Iron in the above range but not in excess or over 400. TIBC test low result (208) ,lower that initial lower bound (274) indicates patient suffers from her blood's capacity to bind iron with transferrin.
Transferrin can bind two atoms of ferric iron with high affinity.
Patient suffers from Anisochromia which demonstrates that congenital blood disorder after birth toxic Anisochromia is the cause of her anemia. Since blood iron is within normal test range, patient suffers from blood disorder where iron binding affinity of her blood, is the cause of Toxic Anisochromia.
